I have not been putting a lot of work up in the last few weeks because I was helping Santa prepare special Christmas presents and I did not want to give away any Christmas secrets. I had a wonderful holiday and appreciate all of those who allowed me to share in their celebrations by preparing a gift for their tree. Here are some of the paintings. Be sure to keep scrolling to see all of them.
This painting was for a special aunt.
Those of you who follow my work know that I love Lake Martin and this is one of my favorite subjects at Lake Martin. A special friend requested this painting for her son’s wedding gift. He’s the one doing the flip.
These pups are members of a family and this painting was a Christmas surprise from a family member.
A grandmother to be wanted something special for her first grandchild’s room. She was so sweet to ask me to help.
A very dear friend asked me to memorialize the blessed event of the wedding of her son and daughter which she wanted to give as a Christmas gift. We worked together on her idea and the paintings above are what we came up with.
There is a lot to tell about the sweet sisters in the painting above, but I may be giving away a secret. My daughter showed me a photo of these two sweet girls and I could not resist painting them. I hope their mom liked the Christmas surprise.
I hope you enjoy these paintings that have kept me busy for the last few months. I am thankful to these friends that asked me to participate in their Christmas and remember their special days.
I have enjoyed the holiday with my family but will be busy in January. I have five commissioned paintings that I need to finish this month. Also I will be delivering some paintings to Trinity Spotlight on Art in Atlanta for their show in February.
Thanks for keeping up with my work.
